Objectives
- Ensuring that all Halal Standards are fully complied in all subsidiaries.
- To be a liaison body between Religious authorities and CAB group.
- Reference body for subsidiary companies or religious matters.
- Organize courses and training for Halal Executives and slaughterers or attend it to ensure their knowledge is in line with latest.
- Settlement of disputes between customers and subsidiary companies with advice and educated them about HALAL Processing did in CAB companies authorized by JAKIM.
- Record keeping and tracking of HALAL certification renewal.
- Scheduled annual HALAL Internal Audit.
- To act as Secretariat body to the group Halal Committee.
- Monitor all activities at the plant comply with Halal requirement and Halal Protocol from Malaysia Standard (MS1500:2009) and Manual Procedure for Malaysia Halal Certification 2014.
Our Principles
Halal Committee CAB Cakaran Corporation Berhad established to get trustworthiness among consumer of the product distribute from our company meet the Halal requirement by JAKIM while ensuring the product release is safe, clean and health.
- We oversee all Halal activities from poultry farm, slaughterhouse and food processing premises under CAB Cakaran Corporation Berhad.
- We conduct an audit work to ensure Halal Compliance at subsidiaries follow the guidelines set by JAKIM.
- We are committed not to compromise with any forgery information made by any party and continual research to comply our Halal product comply with all applicable law and regulations.
Our Halal Policies
- To ensure all Halal activities include slaughtering and food processing comply set up by JAKIM.
- Conducting audit activities consistently either in regular schedule or randomly to ensure halal activities to be exercised to all subsidiaries.
- To enhance and to equip knowledge and information among subsidiaries pertaining Halal activities set by JAKIM.
- To ensure all Halal Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for each subsidiary to be implemented and to follow JAKIM's requirement.
- Committed to ensure all product distribute to the consumer are fulfill with Halal compliance followed the JAKIM's Halal Certification.
Our Responsibility
- To evaluate, review and refine the Halal standards in the CAB group.
- Ensure every subsidiary obtain Halal Certification and meets the Halal requirements and tayyib at all times.
- Compliance with the Halal Standard is monitored closely from farm, abattoir to processing plants, our suppliers to ensure compliance of Halal as determined by JAKIM.
- Internal Halal Audit yearly basis by our Internal Enforcement and Audit's Team.
